Teeth move for life, and retention is how a result holds
Nobody enjoys hearing it, so here it is plainly. Teeth keep drifting for as long as you have them, whether or not braces were ever involved. Retention is not a sentence you serve and finish. It is the part of treatment that never quite ends, and it is the difference between a result you keep and one you pay for twice.
You might be near the end of treatment here, wondering what comes next. Or you finished braces somewhere else years ago, stopped wearing the retainer at some point, and have watched the front teeth drift back since. Both are routine here, and the second is not a lost cause.

What to expect
A short visit, and nobody scolding you
Most retainer visits are quick. You come in, the fit gets checked, the wear schedule gets adjusted if your bite has settled, and you leave. If you stopped wearing yours three years ago, say so. It is the most common thing we hear and it changes the plan, not the tone of the conversation.
The office is Suite D120 on W. Anthem Way, ground level, with reserved parking at the door. No garage and no elevator between the car and a ten minute check.
